Energy storage units
Power packs are portable battery units that supply electrical power to devices.
The term covers everything from small rechargeable units for charging phones I always carry a power pack when traveling to larger battery systems for tools or equipment.
In older usage, a power pack was the component of an electronic device that converted AC current to the DC voltage the device required.
