postseason game
After regular season
A postseason game is a competitive match played after the regular season ends, typically as part of a playoff or championship tournament.
In professional sports, the postseason determines league champions through elimination rounds: The team hasn't won a postseason game in fifteen years.
Reaching the postseason—and winning there—often defines a season's success.
