The conference finals are the penultimate round of playoff competition in North American professional sports leagues, determining which team from each conference advances to the championship series.
In the NBA and NHL, the Eastern and Western Conference finals precede the Finals; in the NFL, the AFC and NFC Championship Games serve this function.
