postfixes
Endings added after
Postfixes are elements added to the end of a word to modify its meaning or grammatical function—what linguists call suffixes.
In "-ness" or "-ing," the postfix transforms the base word.
In computing, postfix notation places operators after operands rather than between them.
The verb postfix means to attach something at the end: The system postfixes a timestamp to each filename.
