uncorrelated
No linear relationship
Uncorrelated describes things that have no statistical relationship to each other—when one changes, the other doesn't predictably follow.
In finance, uncorrelated assets move independently, making them valuable for diversification.
More loosely, uncorrelated can mean simply unrelated or unconnected: The two incidents appear to be uncorrelated.
