pluralities
Most but not all
Pluralities is the plural of plurality, which most often refers to the state of being plural or numerous.
In elections, particularly American ones, a plurality means the largest number of votes received by any candidate when no one achieves a majority (more than half).
She won with a plurality, not a majority, since three candidates split the vote.
The term also describes situations involving multiple groups, opinions, or elements coexisting: a plurality of viewpoints shaped the final decision.
