plantar warts
Sole skin bumps
Plantar warts are warts that grow on the soles of the feet.
Unlike warts elsewhere on the body, the pressure of standing and walking forces them inward rather than outward, creating a hardened, sometimes painful spot: She had a plantar wart removed by a podiatrist.
They're caused by HPV and often develop small black dots from clotted blood vessels.
