pituitaries
Brain's hormone producers
Pituitaries is the plural of pituitary, a small gland at the base of the brain that regulates growth, metabolism, and other bodily functions through hormone secretion.
Often called the "master gland" because it controls other endocrine glands: The pituitaries of the test subjects showed abnormal hormone levels.
