pilot controls

Aviator's command station

Pilot controls are the instruments and mechanisms a pilot uses to operate an aircraft—the yoke or stick, throttle, rudder pedals, and related systems.

The term extends to any interface giving someone direct command over a vehicle or complex system: She took the pilot controls while he checked the navigation.
