pig-outs
Gorging food sessions
Pig-outs are episodes of excessive eating, usually of junk food or comfort food.
The term evokes pigs at a trough—greedy, unrestrained consumption: Weekend pig-outs always leave me feeling sluggish.
The singular pig-out can also describe the event or the food itself: That pizza was a total pig-out.
