photosensitizing
Making skin sun-reactive
Photosensitizing means making something sensitive to light.
In medicine and biology, photosensitizing agents are substances that increase the skin's or tissue's reaction to light exposure, sometimes causing burns or damage: Certain antibiotics have a photosensitizing effect.
The term appears in chemistry and photography where light activation triggers reactions.
