perceivability

Capacity for detection

Perceivability is the quality of being able to be perceived—detected by the senses or grasped by the mind.

The term appears most often in accessibility guidelines, where it describes whether content can be presented in ways users can sense: Web content must meet basic perceivability standards for visually impaired users.
