tangibility
Quality of touchability
Tangibility is the quality of being touchable or concrete.
Abstract concepts lack tangibility; physical objects have it.
In business, tangibility distinguishes assets you can see and touch—buildings, equipment, inventory—from intangible ones like patents or goodwill.
The word often appears in discussions contrasting the tangibility of physical experiences with digital or virtual ones: There's a tangibility to holding a printed book that screens can't replicate.
