peaked roofs
Triangular house crowns
Peaked roofs come to a point or ridge at the top, as opposed to flat roofs.
The term describes the most common residential roof shape in much of the world, where two sloped surfaces meet at a central apex: The neighborhood was full of peaked roofs and white picket fences.
