partita
Instrumental dance collection
A partita is a suite of instrumental pieces, typically for solo keyboard or violin.
The term is most associated with Baroque music, particularly Bach's keyboard partitas and his partitas for solo violin.
Each partita consists of several dance movements—allemandes, courantes, sarabandes, gigues—organized into a unified whole.
