paper dolls
Tabbed clothing recipients
Paper dolls are flat figures cut from paper or cardboard, typically representing people, with separate paper clothing that attaches via folding tabs.
Once a common children's toy, they've become largely nostalgic: She spent hours with her paper dolls as a girl.
The term can describe anything flimsy or two-dimensional: characters as thin as paper dolls.
