There and return
Over and back is a basketball violation where the offensive team, having advanced the ball past midcourt, returns it to the backcourt.
Once a team establishes possession in the frontcourt, crossing back over the halfcourt line results in a turnover: The point guard's errant pass was ruled over and back.
