old timers
Those with experience
Old-timers are people who have been around a long time—veterans of a place, profession, or era.
The term often carries affection or respect: The old-timers at the factory knew tricks the new hires never learned.
It can also simply mean elderly people: The old-timers gathered at the diner every morning.
Old-timer's disease is a folk etymology or euphemism for Alzheimer's disease.
