pensioners
Those drawing benefits
Pensioners are people who receive a pension—regular payments from a retirement fund, government program, or former employer.
The term is more common in British English, where it often specifically means retirees receiving state benefits: pensioners queuing at the post office, a discount for pensioners.
In American English, retiree is the more usual term.
