nutball
Someone acting bizarre
A nutball is an eccentric or crazy person—someone whose behavior seems unhinged or irrational: Some nutball was yelling at traffic on the corner.
The term is informal and mildly dismissive rather than clinical, suggesting the person is harmlessly odd or amusingly unbalanced rather than dangerously insane.
