noseblind
Nose stops noticing
Noseblind describes the inability to detect odors in your own environment because you've grown accustomed to them.
Your nose adapts to persistent smells, making them imperceptible to you while visitors notice immediately: I was noseblind to the cat smell until my sister mentioned it.
The term was popularized by air freshener advertising but names a real phenomenon—olfactory fatigue or habituation.
