nose guards
Eyewear bridge cushions
Nose guards are protective devices worn over the nose, typically during sports or after injury.
In football, a nose guard is also a defensive lineman positioned directly opposite the center—the nose of the offensive line.
Eyeglasses have nose guards (or nose pads), the small cushions that rest on either side of the nose.
