nonintersecting
Lines staying apart
Nonintersecting describes lines, paths, or sets that do not cross or share common points: parallel lines are nonintersecting, the nonintersecting routes kept the two groups apart.
The term appears most often in mathematics and geometry but extends to any context where separate paths or boundaries matter.
