Non-arrival is the failure of someone or something to arrive as expected.
The term appears most often in travel and shipping contexts: The hotel charged us for non-arrival when we missed our flight.
Airlines and hotels distinguish between cancellations (notice given) and non-arrivals (simply not showing up).
