no-clip
Ignore collision detection
No-clip is a video game cheat or debug mode that lets a player pass through walls, floors, and other solid objects.
The term comes from disabling collision detection—the player's character no longer "clips" against surfaces.
I enabled no-clip to explore outside the map.
In internet horror fiction, particularly the Backrooms, no-clipping describes accidentally phasing through reality into liminal spaces: He no-clipped through the floor and ended up in an endless yellow hallway.
