nightcapping
Final drink ritual
Nightcapping is the practice of having a final drink before bed, or more broadly, ending an evening with some concluding activity.
The term extends from nightcap, the drink itself: We went nightcapping after the show.
It can also describe the habit of wearing a cap to bed, though this use is rare outside historical contexts.
