A new tab is a fresh browser window within the same application, allowing users to view multiple web pages without opening separate windows.
Clicking a link while holding a modifier key, or right-clicking and selecting the option, opens it in a new tab.
I opened the article in a new tab to read later.
The blank page that appears when opening a new tab often displays frequently visited sites or a search bar.
