nevermore

At no future

Nevermore means never again—at no future time.

The word is literary and archaic, rarely used in ordinary speech.

Its fame comes almost entirely from Edgar Allan Poe's poem "The Raven," where a bird repeats it as a haunting refrain: Quoth the Raven, "Nevermore."
