net force
Total motion cause
Net force is the single force that results from combining all forces acting on an object.
When multiple forces push or pull in different directions, the net force represents their cumulative effect—what remains after opposing forces cancel out.
If net force is zero, the object stays at rest or continues at constant velocity; if nonzero, the object accelerates.
The net force on the suspended weight is zero because tension balances gravity.
