multiagent
Multiple autonomous entities
Multiagent describes systems or environments involving multiple autonomous agents—typically software programs or AI models—that interact, cooperate, or compete to accomplish tasks.
In artificial intelligence, multiagent systems distribute problem-solving across separate entities that communicate and coordinate: multiagent simulations, multiagent reinforcement learning.
The term appears in robotics, game theory, and distributed computing.
