moral judgment
Right or wrong?
A moral judgment is an evaluation of whether an action, person, or situation is right or wrong, good or bad.
Unlike aesthetic or practical judgments, moral judgments claim to apply universally and often carry emotional weight: She made no moral judgment about his choices.
To pass moral judgment is to pronounce someone's behavior ethical or unethical, sometimes with an implication of self-righteousness.
