Moonwalked is the past tense of moonwalk, meaning to perform the gliding backward dance move popularized by Michael Jackson, where the dancer appears to walk forward while sliding backward: He moonwalked across the stage to thunderous applause.
The term also applies to walking on the lunar surface: Twelve astronauts have moonwalked.
