minipark

Tiny urban park

A minipark is a small public green space, typically occupying a fraction of a city block or an otherwise unused urban lot.

These pocket-sized parks offer benches, plantings, and sometimes playground equipment in densely built neighborhoods where larger parks are impractical.

The city converted the vacant corner lot into a minipark with shade trees and seating.
