midnight service
Christmas Eve worship
A midnight service is a religious worship gathering held at or around midnight, most commonly on Christmas Eve.
Churches hold these services to mark the transition into Christmas Day, often featuring candlelight, hymns, and communion: We attend midnight service every Christmas Eve.
Some denominations also hold midnight services on New Year's Eve or Easter.
