fun-size
Candy bar diminutive
Fun-size describes miniature versions of candy bars and other treats, originally marketed for Halloween distribution.
The term plays on the irony that smaller is supposedly more fun—though the appeal is really to parents buying in bulk and dentists limiting sugar intake.
The usage has spread beyond candy to describe anything appealingly small: fun-size shampoo bottles, a fun-size apartment.
Sometimes applied affectionately to short people.
