microamps
Millionths of amperes
Microamps are millionths of an ampere, a unit measuring very small electrical currents.
The term appears in electronics, medical devices, and scientific instruments where currents are too tiny for standard amp measurements: The sensor draws only a few microamps.
Also written as microamperes or abbreviated μA.
