magic act
Conjurer's stage show
A magic act is a performance of illusions, sleight of hand, and tricks that appear to defy natural laws—making objects vanish, producing things from nowhere, or seeming to read minds.
The term covers both the routine itself and the performer's overall show: Her magic act includes sawing a woman in half.
By extension, any impressive feat that seems impossible can be called a magic act: Getting the kids to bed on time was a magic act.
