Benevolent flying creature
A luck dragon is a benevolent, serpentine flying creature from fantasy fiction, most famously Falkor in Michael Ende's *The Neverending Story*.
Unlike Western dragons, luck dragons have elongated, furry bodies, no wings, and fly through levitation or magic.
They bring good fortune to those they befriend and are characterized by optimism and wisdom.
Falkor the luck dragon carried Atreyu across Fantasia.
