Atreyu
Atreyu is a character from Michael Ende's fantasy novel *The Neverending Story* (1979)—a young warrior who quests to save the land of Fantasia.
The name gained wider recognition through the 1984 film adaptation and an American metalcore band formed in 1998.
He named his dog Atreyu after his favorite childhood movie.
