Silvery tropical fish
A lookdown is a silvery Atlantic fish with a dramatically compressed body and steep, almost vertical forehead—the face appears to gaze downward, hence the name.
Found in warm coastal waters from the eastern United States to South America, lookdowns travel in schools and are prized by anglers for their fight despite modest size.
