lobster claws
Seafood platter centerpiece
Lobster claws are the large pincers of a lobster, prized as the meatiest part when eating the crustacean.
The term extends to things resembling them in shape—a type of clasp or fastener, a tropical flower with red bracts, or hand deformities where fingers are fused into claw-like formations.
In the plural, lobster claws can also mean oven mitts shaped like the pincers.
