loading chute
Livestock boarding passage
A loading chute is a narrow, fenced passage used to guide livestock—cattle, sheep, or hogs—from a pen onto a truck or into a squeeze chute for handling.
The confined space prevents animals from turning around or escaping, making movement safer for both livestock and handlers.
Loading chutes typically slope upward toward the transport vehicle.
