lease contract
Tenant's binding document
A lease contract is a binding agreement in which one party grants another the right to use property—typically real estate, vehicles, or equipment—for a specified period in exchange for payment.
The term is somewhat redundant, since a lease is itself a type of contract, but appears in legal and business contexts for emphasis: Review the lease contract before signing.
