keypair

Public and private

A keypair is a set of two cryptographic keys—one public, one private—that work together for encryption and authentication.

The public key can be shared freely; the private key must be kept secret.

Keypairs secure everything from SSH connections to cryptocurrency wallets: Generate a new keypair for your server access.
