karmic law
Actions have consequences
Karmic law is the principle that actions generate consequences—good deeds bring good outcomes, bad deeds bring suffering.
The concept comes from Hindu and Buddhist traditions, where karma accumulates across lifetimes, but the phrase appears in looser Western usage to mean that people eventually get what they deserve: Karmic law caught up with him.
