cosmic justice
Fate's moral balance
Cosmic justice is the notion that the universe itself enforces moral balance—that good and evil actions eventually receive their due reward or punishment, independent of human legal systems.
The concept appears in religious frameworks (karma, divine judgment) and secular hopes that wrongdoers will somehow "get what's coming to them." There's no cosmic justice—bad people prosper all the time.
Often invoked when human institutions fail to deliver fairness.
