jetskis

Motorized personal watercraft

Jetskis is the plural of jetski, a small motorized watercraft ridden like a motorcycle, typically by one or two people standing or kneeling.

The rider straddles the craft and steers with handlebars: Jetskis buzzed across the lake all afternoon.

The name derives from Jet Ski, a Kawasaki trademark that became generic.

Also spelled jet skis.
