jaccard
Intersection over union
Jaccard refers to the Jaccard index, a statistical measure of similarity between two sets.
It calculates the size of the intersection divided by the size of the union—yielding a value from 0 (no overlap) to 1 (identical sets).
Used in data science, ecology, and text analysis to compare samples: The Jaccard similarity between the two documents was surprisingly high.
