internet filter
Website access controller
An internet filter is software or hardware that blocks access to certain websites or online content.
Filters may target pornography, violence, malware, or sites deemed inappropriate for children.
Schools, libraries, workplaces, and parents use them to control what users can view: The library's internet filter blocked the health website by mistake.
Some countries implement national-level filters for censorship.
