inner loop
Interior repetition cycle
Inner loop has two main uses.
In programming, it's a loop nested inside another loop—the code that executes most frequently and where optimization matters most.
In urban planning and traffic, an inner loop is a highway or road circling a city's core, as opposed to outer beltways: The inner loop was congested during rush hour.
